ABOUT US

The founder of the firm was Mr Dan Du Toit, a sole practitioner who established the practice in 1970. He was joined by Mr Leon Frank in 1973, when the name of the firm was changed to Du Toit and Frank. When Mr Du Toit retired in 1980, Mr Frank was joined by Mr Paul Viljoen and the name of the firm was changed to Frank & Viljoen.

Mr Viljoen left the firm in 1985, and Michèle Marais joined the firm in 1992. When she became a partner in 1995 the name was changed to Leon Frank & Partners. In 2008 we incorporated Murray Smith & Swanepoel – a firm that was founded in the Strand in 1927. Mr Fanie le Roux joined the firm in 1998 and became a partner in 2011, along with Mr Danie Meiring who joined the firm in 2005 and also became a partner in 2011. We currently have six attorneys in our team, which means that we’re large enough to be able to provide expert legal advice on all aspects of your personal, property and business transactions, yet small enough to offer a personalised service that is hard to beat.

Our offices are situated in Somerset West, but we have a representative at the deeds office in Cape Town every day, and can meet you for a
