Built on Decades of Dedication

Our firm has a long history dating back to 1970, when the founder of the firm, Mr Dan Du Toit, established in general legal practice in the Strand. He was joined by Mr Leon Frank in 1973, when the name of the firm was changed to Du Toit and Frank. When Mr Du Toit retired in 1980, Mr Frank was joined by Mr Paul Viljoen and the name of the firm was changed to Frank & Viljoen.

Mr Viljoen left the firm in 1985, and Michèle Marais joined the firm in 1992. When she became a partner in 1995 the name was changed to Leon Frank & Partners. In 2008 we incorporated Murray Smith & Swanepoel – a firm that was founded in the Strand in 1927. Mr Fanie le Roux joined the firm in 1998 and became a partner in 2011, along with Mr Danie Meiring who joined the firm in 2005 and also became a partner in 2011.

With a history spanning more than 50 years, it is clear that we believe in building lasting relationships based on the highest level of trust and ethical standards.
